Baked Ricotta Cheesecake with Balsamic Strawberries

One year ago today my husband and I officially moved to Sydney. It's been a great year for us - a new city, new home, new jobs, new friends and new experiences.

To celebrate I decided to make something new. I've never made a cheesecake before and I found this recipe and it looked so good I just had to try it, especially since strawberries are in season.

Tastes extra good watching a movie like Little Miss Sunshine too! ;)

  1. I prefer ricotta cheesecake to the normal cream cheese anytime. And the balsamic strawberries are wonderful with the cake!

  2. OMG Ladybug that's just THE best! Yummo Scummo

  3. That looks delicious and I've seen lots of juicy lookimng strawberries at the store lately. Must try this one day! :D Happy 1st anniversary too :)

  4. Yes, if you can make the strawberries to go with the cheesecake it really does "take it to a different level" (as they would say on Masterchef!). Make sure you taste, taste, taste as you're making the strawberries so you get the perfect balance between the balsamic and the suagr (I added a little more caster sugar than prescribed in the recipe).

    Scrumptious diddlyumptious!!!

    Ladybird x
